there is a difference between respecting each others degaans to clan-warfare, mooriyaanism, opposing any form of a goverment
They go hand in hand. People talk federalism but do not want to give up a thing to the core. This concept will always exist to block any attempts at a functioning national govt.

i am anti federalism but pro every man ruling his town and one central goverment. in england a major of the town is someone born there and a local he wont be from some other town because the people wont accept that.

Boris Johnson is the Mayor of London and he was born in New York, USA.
You can be uncivilized and do whatever you want but don't come with "I am a nationalist, I care about about my people" bullshit. Hypocrisy is the worst and Somalis mastered it.

Look at this! You say you want reconciliation and a Somali state, yet you don't want to meet
anyone half way.

there is no such a thing as "reconciliation" we had more then a thousand meetings about "reconciliation" and were still in the same situation. sxb u need to be realistic we need to respect each other we will have one president chosen by the people but u go and rule ur town i will go to mine.

we need to forget about clan. qabiil is what made us refugees today in westren countries.
No.
There is too much clan division.
There is no way all will get along.
Shariif is the only man who can unite Somalia if it's possible.
Power is what people want and if they don't get it expect conflict.
Power sharing is the only solution.

How is this guy comparing English mayors to Somali clan states

??? Do English mayors or regions try to create their own foreign policy that is different than the Prime Minister's? Do they encroach in matters of taxation, national defense, education curriculum etc? Or do they have a limited set of areas that they are in charge of that don't conflict with the unity of the country? LOL @ starting a thread like this one then harboring the ideas you have, what an oxymoron.

At least for the first few years it should be a law to have them lead, then once the dust settles it can be every man in the race.
