Oromo are older than Somali

I have gotten two full abtirsi from an Afran Qalloo fellow on my website, both his grandmother's lineage and his own. Qalloo, the ancestor of the Afran Qalloo, was born at least 2000 years ago. It goes back 68-70 generations to Qalloo.

The oldest Somali abtirsi to Samaale goes back at most about 40 generations on the outside. Interestingly enough, the Qalloo believe that Somalis are a descendant of the Baabiile branch of Afran Qalloo. The first Arabic names for Afran Qalloo all start appearing around 45 generations back, which means at least the Noolee and Jarsoo branches of the Afran Qalloo became Muslim in the first decades of Islam .

In fact looking at this, I wonder if perhaps it was Harar where the first Muslims stayed in their refuge from the Meccans, and not Eritrea or Tigray as is historically assumed.

I read and checked your site, and the Noole dudes linage was exactly the same as mine 5 generations back.
Only difference tho is he added a lotta fake names into his linage. I'm from the same sub...clan as he is and Usmaan doesn't go back that far.

Str8, in most oromo genealogy there are long version ... some children became more famous than their parents.
For instance Alaa is very popular than his children whereas Noolee and Jaarso are more popular than their father Daga.
When this happens at sub sub clan stage, the least famous ancestors are sometimes omitted....

I heard when Odaa Bultum was founded around 1530, afran qallo clans were minor clans;

click noole and check Fatoo section, keep clicking the names, from Chaffee, mayyaa odda, its the same without all the arabic names.
Warra Usmaan is not an old family, theres no way usmaan could be that far back.

Yes i understand, but check the link, do you honestly think Noole would go that far out?
I'm positive Halelee are the oldest noole and they wouldn't even make it that far, maybe and quarter of the list.

Noole cant go 65 generation, the oldest genealogy I saw is some alaa folks: I think they can go 33 to 35.

I think James concatenated in his DB the name of all Noolee sub sub sub clans
