Just about every decent sized port in the world, even tiny ones by international standards, have cranes and other heavy lifting equipment. Hell, even the port of Massawa which was heavily damaged during Eritrea's war of indepedence has cranes. Also, deep-water Somali ports (Kismaayo, Mogadishu, Boosaasso and Berbera) need to be clear building near the port as they restrict future port expansion.

Lol you mean that's where the majority of Somalia's aid comes through.Oxidant wrote:Bossaso is a Somali operated and owned port. It used by Somalis in Ogaden, Puntland and central Somalia regions regularly. It’s also used to export numerous goods towards Arabia and other destination. It is located in the most capitalistic city in Somalia where trade is the language of the city. While Berbera is an Ethiopian owned and operated port. The usage of the port is dictated in Addis Ababa and the city is in decline and is decaying as we speak. The tongue of the city is idleness and Khat usage. Bosasso will most likely be the financial and industrial capital of Somalia in the future,
While Berbera will be a tourist town to see the cities ruins
