That man is sadistic wallahi. At some point early on it passed discipline to abuse. Damn. Personally I and neither of my siblings ever really suffered physical punishment and we grew up just right. I was 14 the only time I ever got hit by my dad. He slapped me cuz I went to a birthday party and came home after him. Only a slap and 10 minutes he came back and told me to get dressed and we went out to eat.

You need to train your kids from early on to respect you and put guilt in them instead of fear. If the only thing you can do to make them obey you is to put fear in them through physical punishment it means you failed as a parent and really leads to a corrosive family life. That man terrified his daughter and I would never even want my kids to fear me a little. Just respect me and if I can't achieve it means I failed as a parent.

That Black uncle did it right since that kid didn't have a dad and needs some discipline at his age.

The father stated his daughter stole things from other people. He has a right to discipline her but what is weird about this father is the daughter that he is spanking is disabled. That is what is wrong about his disciplining style; other than that, the father has a right to make his point clear.

If he believes in spanking then her being disabled shouldn't stop the punishment. That is discrimination

By treating her worse than how a prison warden treats a prisoner? God dammit, what is up with these people and their penchant for child abuse. Just because you sleep with a woman and procreate doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with the creation. You can't kill, starve, or abuse them to that extent. Somalia needs clear child abuse laws in the future. If we go by the popular people act with their kids the way their parents acted with them, must mean a lot of Somali kids suffered severe child abuse.

That was not "spanking". That is corporal lashing like what slaves used to get or a fornicator gets in Sharia.

Beating girls doesn't work at all. They're different creatures. Scolding, words, cajoling, etc. all work better with them.



As for the boys, when they're kids yea beat their ass, but when they reach 15 and up and they are still a big mess, then You have to revise Your strategy. Myself I remember the last time My Pops beat me was like at 14/15 and even then while strength wise I actually coulda fought back and maybe even took him I just took it and would never do such a evil thing. After that I pretty much knew right from wrong. As for Hooyo Macaan, she was just too miskiin and soft to ever really hit me.

A child was stealing from other people and we have a problem her father disciplining her? I reject his spanking because the child was mentally disapled and could not really distinguish wrong from right. Other than that, stealing is worse than spanking, and if the child is not mentally handicapped, a parent should draw the line. Which parent in the world can live with a child who is a thief that steals from other people? Not me!
