Who can/would overthrow the TFG if they're backed by the whole world ?
The best and quickest thing that could resolve all this is , al shabaab splitting between those who have Somali blood in them and the rest . The former organizing themselves in a political fashion {party} .
The people of Somalia seem to be LOST in this equation I agree , that is NEVER a good recipe for a good outcome .

Indeed. The US foreign Policy on this country must change if they want to see a stable somalia,Using Kenya,Ethiopia (Our long term traditional hostile enemies) will only deepen the somali people hatred for USA .

Guys no one has invaded. Ethiopia is doing some exercise along the border, as well as over seeing progress of the Suufi militia.

Have you guys ever asked yourself, why when the Islamist were defeated and run into the bushes, no genuine Nationalist movement rose to fight the Ethiopians?

The reason why Somali nationalism does not exist is because we are a tribal society. Lets be honest here, we see it every day on this forum. Abgaal vs. HG, Sade Vs. Absame, Sl vs PL etc.

The commen denominator of Somalia's Ills is tribalism, followed by foreign interventions.

It's funny right, how somalia is the one african country with one major ethnicity, one main language and one religion, which should mean that we're the most patriotic but yet we come in last in africa and probably the world in terms of nationalism. I don't think anyone has an answer on how this lack of nationalism can be fixed

it was a great opportunity, the best opportunity in the civil war era... however, it was a movement that featured different ideologies and individuals that would have went to conflict with each other sooner or later...

How about supporting your government and making it better? New movements are time consuming, a time we dont have.

It seems more people are disagreeing with BOTH the TFG/AMISOM and Shabaab together and seeing them in a negative light..together.
