If people would just plant our flag everywhere , Garbahaarey, Dhoobley, Hoobyo , KIsmaayo , Xamar , we would call it the Republic of Somaliland and then we could proceed to a federal system "à la Suisse" . Balkanization of Somalia

The new independant states of Somaliland, Puntland, Galmudug (the new name of rest of Somalia).

Those in the new nation of Galmudug who do not agree to the new arrangements can move to Ethiopia or Kenya with their fellow clansmen already there.

How will exchanging one flag for another change anything? I thought the whole point of secession was to get away from the rest of the Somalis
