salafis are a tiny minority in Tunisia.
elnahada originates from the muslim bortherhood..
what union doesn't realize is that 'Salafis' are less related to Al qaeda and the likes, whilst the Ennahda branch off from the Egyptian Muslim brotherhood whose direct counterpart is Dr. Ayman Al Zawihiri militant branch.
So Salafis like me are less of a threat than ennahda

Granpa union probably knows that salafis are irrelavant in Tunisia, Morroco, and Egypt and Libya infact most of the muslim world.
He is wishing that salafis were in charge, because they are easy to defeat.

The iran revolution was a fluke, a unique event.
It was not even islamic, the revolution was started and led by Tudeh the communist movement and the other secular parties.
The ayatollahs were smart enough to outmanouver and trick everyone .
They used the Iraqi invasion to kill off all other opposition.
Sunnis have to take other paths, the road is wide open.
We will get there.
dont worry..

^ Yes you are right. I really enjoyed this book
called the " Unthinkable Revolution". Details how no one would've ever expected the eventual outcome, and how it was a convergence of random and rapid events as well as smart politicking that allowed Khomeni and co to come out on top.
the synopsis :
The shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, would remain on the throne for the foreseeable future: This was the firm conclusion of a top-secret CIA analysis issued in October 1978. One hundred days later the shah--despite his massive military, fearsome security police, and superpower support was overthrown by a popular and largely peaceful revolution. But the CIA was not alone in its myopia, as Charles Kurzman reveals in this penetrating work; Iranians themselves, except for a tiny minority, considered a revolution inconceivable until it actually occurred. Revisiting the circumstances surrounding the fall of the shah, Kurzman offers rare insight into the nature and evolution of the Iranian revolution and into the ultimate unpredictability of protest movements in general.

Why do you never denounce imperialism and gaalo agenda, but you are viciously against Wahabi ideology [which is fair enough]. But your lack of balance and objectivity make you just sound like an opposite extreme of GK. Whilst he excuses everything Muslims do, you excuse everything gaalo cadaan imperialists do.
Beenale, don’t take my pro America/Israel trolling too seriously. I only do it because I know how much it irritates the wahabi members.
