your despicable use every chance to promote your views no matter how absurd an opportunityunion wrote:I wouldn’t be too sure. Clerics in general, and now especially wahabi Muslim clerics, make absurd claims with some regularity. Recently high ranking Saudi clerics said allowing women to drive would “cause the end of female virginity”, and that’s after their Grand Mufti claimed the sun revolved around the Earth.

Answering another question about what to do if women in the family like these foods, the sheikh advised the interviewer to take the food and cut it for them in a hidden place so they cannot see it.

I give you muslims a free pass and won't hold this idiot to Islam
What would it mean if it isn't a prank? Would it mean Islam is a "backward" religion? Would it make us feel ashamed or embarrassed because of what gaalos would think about Muslims or Islam? Would it validate negative preconceived notions some (maybe FAH1223) have formed about Islamists (Taliban, al-Shabaab)? Personally, if it isn't a prank, it wouldn't make me feel ashamed/embarrassed, it wouldn't make me care an iota about what gaalos (or non-Muslims) think (negatively) about Islam or Muslims, it wouldn't diminish my respect for our scholars even if they make genuine mistakes in their rulings, etc. If this is about some obscure individual, group or entity that aims to damage the reputation of Islam and Muslims, well, that happens all the time whether in secret or openly.qoraxeey wrote:i was just about to ask the same thing![]()
