Large private and public investment is taking place in Eritrea. It’s a blessed country because of its people.

Faant, I saw a good report on Eritrea and Uganda about a decade ago. A group of researchers followed these two countries which they said were the two extremes of World Bank/IMF/UN agencies cooperation with African states. Although it was a preliminary report, they applauded Eritrea for their pioneer-ship in self-reliance. Uganda was accepting every loan/grant offer it received at the time while Eritrea was doing the opposite.

I agree that the road Eritrea took which is based on self reliance which further leads to real sovereignty, the basis for economic prosperity, politically mature population, is the rigth road  but the important question is how can we make Somalia to a second Eritrea? in my opinion, strong patriotism, visionary leadership,, ,sacrifice, are the principles which we as a people must build our lives on, so we may be able to achieve the development, dignity, strong sovereignty Eritrea has achieved.
