I will condemn him when you guys condemn the atrocities Siyad Barre committed...otherwise we will never have peace in somalia...walee we wont...when one group sides with another on atrocities..
Everybody is regonizing the genocide aganist Issaq, nobody can deny that 50000 issaq civilians was killed.... but justice for every clan....

Much respect to you Faant...you are a true Somali patriot....Seriously..I mean I dont remember my grandmother(although I was told she seen me)...To learn that, when her son stayed behind to look after her as planes were bombarding Hargeisa town, he decided to go get a donkey to carry her on...while he was away, the army of your uncle Siyad barre(may he rot in hell) came in the compound. They wanted to loot the house, but as old as she was she was very territorial(old people tend to hang on to stuff) so she refuse to let go of the stuff she had. One guy put a bullet through her........My dad died recently still wanting to know who did it...and wallahi my dad was a very dignified and fair man...He never allowed a little creature to be killed unnecessarily, but I had the chance to ask her "would you kill the person that killed your mom?"..And he looked at me and said "what do you think"..with a very sad face....He would've killed that man....That man who committed that crime could be one of y'alls father today....Its as simple as that..

sxb indhahaaga kala fur, qalad qalad kale laguma saxo. you have a completely wrong mentality to begin with, marka hore, who is 'you' and 'we'? sxb weligaa xaqqa ha indhatirin, even if you hate it oo ey dadka kale kaadiidanyihiin., wadada saxda waxa weeye in runta markasta la sheego. its about being the better person and with that said, i will never support in dulmi lagu sameeyo dadkayagii

and chin up sxb, you are a somalilander, why should you care what a hawiye/darood guy says? adigaa siad barre iyo warlordska ka badisay oo maanta nabad ku waaraysaa. awalba isaaq waxaa lagu ogaa dulqaadka badan iyo heshiishiinta, marka nabsigaan iyo dhiigkarka badan iska dhaaf adeer

It was a touching story and I have great respect for you for being so civilized regarding tribalism considering that your grandmother was killed in the genocide. :( onec again AUN

I can assure you that the man who killed your grandmother, he is either dead today because of civil war or suffering in this moment, he will not escape justice.

many of my darood family members who was living in Hargeisa in 1988 can attest that the genocide against Issaq really happend, rapes, killings, lootings, those women and children who was not killed was chased by airplanes to Ethiopia. But it was not only Darood troops, it was all southern clans who took part.
