IronSheik wrote:Lamgoodle but we somalis are we not the same ones who make fun of our somali brothers from Djibouti and say there first language is french iyo they lost the soomali dhaqan they don't have the language and the culture and even call themselves djiboutians not somalis. Look at the new generation of youth from djibouti they don't speak somali and the dhaqan is gone. But I don't care about all that the religion but is all that is true but like all muslims they are succeptible to being corrupted like all men. So have they been corrupted? Very high chance abti so there is nothing to celebrate until we see what happens on the ground and I don't think they will be any different to the ugandans.

Never mind what people say about them. The fact of the matter is that they are somalis. The term Djiboutian does not neccessarily mean they are not somalis. It is just like Xamara wi, Wanlaweyn, Burcaawi, Jalalaqsi etc.

I think you are generalising by claiming that they have a moral decay (it is funny that we as somalis don't see oursleves as the mother of all moral decays  ) . If you have been to Djibouti or have Djibouti friends, you may notice that there is hardly any difference between them and other somalis. Don't buy cheap propaganda and maxaa la yiri kind of discourse.

They will be different than the Ugandans. Blv me. These are our boys while the other Amison soldiers are viewed as invading enemies of the crusaders.

New Har,
Yes, I have been to Djibouti and in my opinion the people who live their are somalis ; good somalis.

so what happened in the airport? i heard they spent hours sitting in the plane while the Ugandan army worked out where they should be placed. i also heard roamers say that Ugandan army wouldn't allow Djiboutian army to guard vital locations, such as the airport and TFG offices. why? they said because if that was to happened, then Ugandan's influence might weaken thus limiting their leverage on TFG.

i am confused here! who's running the show?

what a nacas people!!! subhannallah!

The Djibouti president is not neutral in Somalia's conflict and I hope the roamers are true.
