Brazil of 1994-2002 is legendary in international/world cup football, but there was nothing special about them apart from the fact that they had sheer quality in the team and players like they did in 1970.

Barcelona 2009-2012 is perhaps the strongest football team to grace the pitch, the development of a modifed total football, the tikka tikka system. The sextuple triumphs 08-09 and record 99 points in 09-10. Take into account that most players played and were most key (scoring goals, assists, tikka tikka system) to Spain's 2010 word cup triumph was mainly from Barcelona, and Barcelona have Messi (best player ever) and a a team that work, are experienced and easily complement each others role best.

In terms of unlocking the defense of the opponent and displaying more entertaining football Brazil of that time was much better than the current Barca team. Barca sees a lot of ball but they don't create as many chances as they should. So possession wise current Barca team is superior but not as creative as the past Samba.

Iniesta is one of the best attacking midfielders to the play the game, but he's still way off the level of Laudrup, Matheus and Baggio. I've seen people compare him to Zidane but Zizou was extraordinary. A player who lead his nation to 3 major finals winning two of them, dominating the likes of Brazil, Spain amd Portugal on his last year of football. A true legend. Iniesta will be remembered as a world class player who was part of a very succesful Barca generation. Will never reach a legendary status.
