Idk why United wants Sneijder. The guy is a pure lazy Triquerista. He doesn't play a cm role. He doesn't track back on defense. Fergie runns 4-4-2 variation. Where does Sneijder fit in that, or is he gonna change it up for him?

The team really doesn't need him to be a holding CM, that's where Carrick or Park come into play. What is lacking is playmaking and a versatile player in the middle, the team tried with Rooney but the reality is that's just not his position.

I get that they need a creative midfielder but I'm not getting what formation they'll run then considering now they pretty much run a 4-4-2 variation. I'm guessing a 4-2-3-1 with Rooney up front as the loan striker?

Thats probable. Sneijder flourished under that formation with the Dutch team and I'm guessing a trio combo of Rooney, Nani and Young are just as good as Van persie, Robben and Kuyt. I wouldn't be surpised to see Ferguson playing that. The only problem in this case would be limiting Rooney's free flow. Maybe Chicarito up front followed by both both Rooney and sneijder with only one DM is ideal and could very be a dangerous line-up.
