i never said piracy does not exist in puntland, but it is on the decline and MOST of the pirate bases are in galmudug. now if puntland finds oil and piracy in puntland ends, how will that end piracy in somalia when MOST of the pirate bases are not located in puntland to begin with?

i never said piracy does not exist in puntland, but it is on the decline and MOST of the pirate bases are in galmudug. now if puntland finds oil and piracy in puntland ends, how will that end piracy in somalia when MOST of the pirate bases are not located in puntland to begin with?

I didn't say anything about the rest of Somalia, I am referring to the local youngsters who got caught up in the game for Money purposes. This is their way out of the addicting game that had them chasing money while undertaking high risks.

anyway, you're making it seem like piracy is a big issue in puntland when it isn't. there are many halal ways for youngsters in puntland to make money, but that doesn't matter to the few thrill-seekers who part-take in piracy and it won't matter to them when oil is found.
