For me, gaming was most often a 'get together' thing. I rarely enjoy single player games like GTA. I never quite understood the point of it.

AC is repetitive, huh? I can see your point about the emphasis on graphics, which is why Wii is always in the back of my mind when it comes to deciding on a system. And I was under the impression that credit card information was required for PS3 online. Wasn't there a whole fiasco about user credit card info being hacked and leaked (most likely by Microsoft)? And if I were to stack up FPS games today, Battlefield would take the cake. Then again, I don't see a point to the realism behind combat games. That's messed up. Whatever happened to escapism?

I know if I ever do decide to actually purchase a system, a whole new slew of consoles will be let out once I do.

San Andreas is the only GTA I enjoyed perhaps because it was all about fun unlike the latest instalment which is just graphics and a bit too realistic for my liking.

Assassins creed is a nice game but gets repetitive quick, I was tempted to by the new one (only because it's set up in the Ottoman Empire ) but decided it wasn't for it. The game industry has gone downhill and puts way too much emphasis on graphics, they have set up ridiculous rules forcing people to play a certain way and limitting what they can do with the product they purchased and 80% o the games out there are FPS Call of Duty wannabees.

By the way Ps3 online is free but dont waste your money on it, it's just not worth it.
GT5 has been out for a while man.
