You will expect someone educated like him wouldn't go on clannish level..but I guess u can't take the geeljironimo out of these people.

The only true nationalist pro somali-unity, who is above qabiil and qashin is Prof. Samatar.. one thing you should admire him for is his anti-qabilsm.

as for siilaanyo this old man wuu asaasaqy in uu iska retire ayaa u fiican. Truth is this war is just waste of peoples lives it would not benefit anyone. The somaliland recognition doesn't rely on this nor does the reunification of somalia and somaliland...if it does anything it just divide somalis further

He signed for an Independent Sl If he lost a seat then should he have broken the treaty and run to Somalia looking for power? How do you trust these figures who are clearly only looking for their own interests and trust them He chose to cause conflict between you and the gov, especially when most are living in a bad area that lacks water and facilities..he doesn't give a damn.

In any case, nobody is holding Dhulbahante back from having a clan feifdom (which isn't good) , but attacking army bases which lead to more unnecessary deaths is a bad idea.

It's a sad thing but neccessary, somali's are tribal maniacs if a politician wants to make in a political platform he must gain the trust of his clan. Silanyo is doing just that, same with Cali Khalif.

But I don't think both men are evil, or to blame for the conflicts. It's a long avoided clash, which just couldn't be avoided anymore

This makes more sense, they wouldn't want to isolate anyone at that time.
