Vol,there is nothing plausible about such an offer.any attempt to tie the evacuation of LA to SL's ictiraaf is unacceptable. The triangle gonna have to go at the ictriraaf thing against the rest of Somalia on their own.
Emperior;just like most idoors out there,u r too caught up in ur own rhetoric to realize all the contradictions and ironies in ur statements. u despise a qabiil state when u r defending one, call for the balkanization of somalia and the unity of somaliland,u call for peace and applaud ur sultan's violent rhetoric all in the same time.
btw,the sultan is harmless.he went bk on his xenophobic remarks the other day and supported khaatumo state.Cant blame him for such a tongue slip, after all he is a man known for drinking that hot stuff that paralyzes ur judgement and makes u talk tough

Eastern sool and southern buhoodle will for ever be part of Somaliland and its not up for negotiations

Its plausable and reasonable because you will never be free of us without our ictiraaf.
There are only 2 choices a peacefull separation or no seperation and severe consequences for your clan.

If you choose to stand in the way of a train then you should expect to be crushed.

you talk tough for a guy who has been defeated the last 3 battles,I will tell u what; it took few weeks for ur keyboard warrior lot to go from the "we gonna capture buhodle"rhetoric to "lets make a settlement" i will give y'all couple months to catch up with ur grand sultan's vision of breaking bread with somaliweyn and adapt to the khaatumo reality of the ground.
p.s:ur train has already wrecked in Buhodle, ask ur uncle Jidhif

isaaqs will not get more then the place they live in.
bitish somaliland belonged to brittian not to wagaashe.

khaatumo= oil, state and dhulbahante  makes you smile aint it

some people are bitter that a sub clan of harti koombe kablalax darood has a state and their entire clan has to share semi state

ps: I believe we should encourage isaaq/somaliland and ethiopia union, we will never except somaliland as a independent state.
land for land deal with ethiopia would be great, ethiopia can take idoor and their land and we will get ogadeniya and sidamo

peace deal between ethiopia and somalia =ogadeniya and sidamo for isaaq somaliland

you se bro, difference between me and you is, ethiopia is not a treat to me nor does it want my land, Ethiopians historic aim was always access to the sea, the nearest acces to the sea in terms ofEthiopian highland is in north western somalia.

here is a emperor menilik outlining his policy
"Towards the east are included within the frontier the country of the Borana Gallas and Arussi country up to the limits of the Somalis, including also the Province of Ogaden .

To the northward the line of the frontier includes the Habar Awal, the Gadabursi, and Essa Somalis , and reaches Ambos"
Formerly the boundary of Ethiopia was the sea. Having lacked strength sufficient, and having received no help from Christian Powers, our frontier on the sea coast fell into the power of the Muslim-man.
At present we do not intend to regain our sea frontier by force, but we trust that the Christian Power, guided by our Saviour, will restore to us our sea-coast line, at any rate, certain points on the coast .
Image

if you look at the map you will see why Ethiopian always valued your land, infect when Ethiopians say Somalis were part of abyssinia, there is some trut to it because the isaaq terrotory used to come under Abyssinian Ethiopian rule from time to time.
ethiopian where always ready for land for land deal
1- The Ethiopians came up with a proposal that if a corridor to the sea , to the port of Zeila in British Somaliland, could be given to Ethiopia , they would in turn , be prepared to cede to British Somaliland part of the Ogaden in exchange . They said that Ethiopia was ready to convene a conference on Lake Tana and to have a Boundary Commission
Ethiopia would be compelled in the interest of her own self-preservation to build up armed forces with funds she would otherwise devote to the progress of the people of Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somaliland
that why you where running towards koonfur in 1960 because you knew brittian didn`t build you a state nor a millitry force and brittian moved british somaliland capital from berbera to hargeisa a indefensibale erea from ethiopian garrisions in jijiga, infact brittiian put idoor on a plate for ethiopians to grap, just like ethiopian to eritrea in the 50s.
the reason you lot where running towards koonfur was never out of love but as a self preservation, but tim have changed koonfur is maing deals with ethiopia left and right

The reason you are supporting ONLF is because in your mind ONLF is seen by ethiopia as a ogadeni and as long they fight you are a ally of ethiopia but as soon the fight stops you will be made redundant, and your share price in the horn of Africa political stock exchange will plummet which wil make you up for grabs for pennies
The problem that is hindering Ethiopian Somali relations is ethnocentric nationalism on the part of the somalis.

when prof cali khalif ghaleir made peace with ethiopia hargeisa shook to the core because everbody knew, dhulbahante is a natural ally of ethiopia, their is no reason for dhulbahante to go against ethiopian interest.

bro lose the border guard mentality, the so called enemies are drinking shaah in the presidential court yard in menelik palace.
Your primary interest is dhulbahante, the enmity between ethiopia and somalia is based on state to state and somali vs habash.

Learn too drain the swamp from which your enemies dwell in, the mosquitos that bite you and infect you have a source, and your mind set has unintended consequence which undermines your interest and empowers your near enemy as a vassal of your far enemy(ethiopia), either way why be a player in a game that doesn`t concern you.
You don`t have the luxury of political adventurism. You can have your nationalistic aspiration and moral based politics when there is a central government which synchronises overall Somali intrest.
Technically You as a dhulbahante in sool sanaag and cayn should not see Ethiopia as your primery enemy and you should not have monopoly on wadanimo to the detriment of your own self interest in regard with Ethiopia relations

gurey25 it's certainly a reasonable settlement. If everybody was sincere on their part in this matter there wouldn't be a need to shed more blood on either side, but as evident in this thread some are not genuine of any long-term settlement. What we shall never tolerate though is wolves in sheep's clothing that can't even unite with their owns cousins out of tribalism to try and hide behind Somalinimo while trying to preach some non-existent unity.
