It's going to be permanent arrangement & will switch to a direct Istanbul-Mogadishu flight by end of the year. Currently, there are Somali pilots being trained in Turkey & there's an understanding for Turkey to help set-up the National Carrier for Somalia & expand Mogadishu's Aden Cade International. Work at Aden Cade International will start soon.

Somalia is surging ahead!

Ankara? Saas ma fiicana cause US/Canadian Somalis iyo most of Europe Somalis will not have access. Turkish main airportkeeda waa Istanbul marka saas ficaan. Walee Jubba iyo East African waa hoogeen :lol:

No, we are just too good at playing Politics from lobbying for UNISOM, AMISOM & now forging strategic ties with the Turks :P

You gotta admit though there's something tasty in it for the turks as well. Maybe exclusive contracting deals to build infrastructure or business incentives for turkish companies to work in Somalia etc. Anyway keep hustling. :up:

You like to lie don't you. There is no Somali pilots being trained in Turkey at the moment. It's plans in the works and something I would personally know ahead of time for obvious reason. 8-)

this is definately good news for somalis in euro especially since they only would pay half of what the airlines charge or atleast cheaper fair and also more somalis will holiday in their country which means a brighter days ahead :clap: :clap: thank you turkey airlines:up: :up:
