Did you know that because of him, Somali expatriates have been running the government since he was elected. Over 90% of Sharif gov officials from PMs to Mogadishu Mayor and defense minister are repatriates. If his gov failed it is not him but diaspora ppl.

Did you know that Sheik Sharif listens and tries to reason with his opponents? He is now working with everyone who has stake in Somalia for the better, even if that jeopardizes his job. Thanks to him and many others, life is coming back to Somalia.

Ppl don't know much about Sharif in part because he is not a loud person, his immediate tribesmen are very civilized and don't carry around his name or agenda, and a lot of ppl hate him for tribal, etc reasons.

Who failed us? The list is very long and he is not in the top ten.

He is the head of a failed state which continues to fail by the day. Giving some cash opportunites to some mentally retarded so-called diaspora does not wash him. Actually, giving job opportunites to those failed in their lives abroad or had lived in comfort in Europe and America is an insult to the Somalis back home. And the word diaspora is being devalued by the somalis by the day. Give me a break.

Ah...unless you are abgaal or majeerteen you know for a fact that Sharif was and has been supported clans other than his immidieate clans.

Yes, there are many who failed us, but he is right now the one who is failing us.

I do not have to know him personally, but I followed his ''presidency'' closely and even attended the meetings in London. Boy, the guy has no idea what it meant to be a president for a country. I just came home disappointed even more.

Indhisiisa iga leexi, but allow him to carry his life and macalin dugsi where he belongs.

Next?

You know what Dont You think that Sheikh sharrif is in the best interest for Somalia what has failed Somalia is meddling from foreign forces Thats what failed somalia they are anti occupation they are also anti having their sea's plunders I personally do not for one second believe that hillarry or any other western people have somalia best interest at heart or the horn of africa they have their own interest so i suggest somalies to not attack their leaders like they did in libya and look where that got them with western help? exactly nowhere support your ministers and leaders and you will succeed in sha Allaah and lissen to what they have to say. Thats why we will always support siilanyo and showed up in our thousands to show our support so dont attack your leaders ..

Princes_lick,

:?

Are you confused? or your ears do not hear what your mouths says? good advice except that you are contridicting yourself.
BTW, I did not attack shariif, but forwarded some worthy critique. I supporedt him, but he is not thr right person for the job.
He is NOT the best person to attract the youth that support alshabab.

I would have sillanayo as the head of Somali state at anytime than alsharif. Except that siilaanyo is a traitor, so is alsharaif ( to some extend).

btw, it is rich coming from you '' do not to atatck our leadership''? was not snm that attacked their homes, national armies, led our Ethiopian enemy to the their home?

come back to me when you figure out which one is your right hand which one your left hand, unless accept my guidance. Follow me, ina abti anigaa xadhiga kuu qabaneh :som:

Siilaaanyo a traitor such vile lies should not come out your mouth we elected him and he is the best leader in the horn of africa looking after and building a region where there is war famine and terrorism he is excellent and built our economy and created jobs and built good relations with our neighbours soo how is he a traitor he is very loyal to the flag and so are we :sland: :sland: :sland:

As far as I am considerd I gave somalia some advice so its not rich coming from me, when i say only somalia has somalia's best interest at heart its the Truth so don't attack sharif especially not siilaanyo and with lies because SNM has never attacked its own people. Like where did this fantasy came from?
I think your a bit confused it was PUNTLAND that LED ETHIOPIA into SOMALIA into their own home and attack its own People. Dont confuse yourself Somaliland and SNM has never Helped or had help from any external forces or Went into Somalia with anyone we was to busy building our country so why call Siilanyo a traitor he hasnt done anything This is EXACTLY what i mean with DONT ATTACK YOUR LEADERS!!!!!!!! kmt

Somalies are there own distructive force.

Honestly Somalies are to busy attacking themselfes with weird random lies its like we have a nation of brainwashed angry people you should really take example of somaliland on how we sang for our president in our thousands yesterday.

Before you make this kind of accusation, it is wise to do a little research. Current PM teaches in one of the most prominent US universities. Farmajo is a New York State government official and Omar Abdirashid was a UN official. The people you are calling retarded (cabinet) are all university educated with well paying jobs in the west.

You need a little research next time.

Being unhappy with him doesn't mean he is not capable. Next time come up with some facts.

Somalies just need to have more of a solidness about them.

If you are displeased with a leader then there should be a way to sort it out internally.

But never attack your leaders

Thats not how Nations are Built

Especially when it is not FACTUAL!

Chucke chuckle....you said ''90%'' of his current office holders are diaspora? which means more than 2 PMs. So what did these ''university educated'' diaspora have been in the past 20 years and so? and since when having US or British Degree qualifed somebody to hold an office in Somalia? and what have they done so far? so that means he did not know how to choice the right people for the posts? and this this one of his very fisrt failure.

Do you mean he helped the diaspore to hold offices? ;)

It is not that I am not happy with him for no reason, but he is not the right person for the post. Period.

Re: abgaa and majeerteen point: you said that people do not want him because of his clan etc. So, I was just remianding you that most of the somalis supported him, it is him who is incapable of making any difference.

BTW there are many PHD holders who do not deserve more than a secretarial job in Somalia or anywhere else for that matter.

It is all about cultural thing. We, Somalis, point that finger when we want to emphasize something. Here in the US, it is considered rude to point your finger at someone. The Dameer should have been taught some manners.
