What's up with all the lack of affection and being uptight? Some summers I spent in madiinatul nasr I (cairo) we use to do kisses on the cheeks, its pure respect and brotherhood. And I use to kiss my mother everyday i Ieft for school.
Even in the uk I'm always going for the brotherly hug/pat on the back/shoulder tap. A hanshake/spud wuld be the least I'd go for.
Like advo said, it really is about mastering the art and interacting with the right people.
