The Somalis agreed and the world recognizes that Mogadishu as the capital shall not be settled or decided by one sub-clan, clan, or entity but by the collective representation of the Somali Republic through the Parliament....it's not a region issue, it is a central government issues.

What states have been recognized that don't fit the criteria? Puntland, which has Nugaal and bari, and maybe khatuumo which is sool iyo sanaag, and galmudug has been set in the process and it is just being waited for it to fulfill the requirements of at least 2 gobols.

Xamar is too big to be part of any maamul gobeleed, and since it is being put to the vote, no parliament will ever vote for it to be other than the federal capital, and federally run, like washington d.c.

You may not like to be told no, but as the capitol every somali has a say in it.

Addow, fiiri, it's not about what I want, as in I have no say. Abgaal is not a power in somalia that can make unilateral decisions. Maybe when a Parliament is convened they will vote to make it a maamul gobleed, because it seems that is the only way to make it part of it. The garrow accord 1 & 2 which was signed by sharif whom you say is part of beesha and has a right to have a say in it, left it up to legislation drawn up by the parliament and approved by them. The london conference has cemented this, and anyone who goes against them is considered "spoilers". As crappy as the sharci maybe, sharci ba meesha jirta.

Sheikh Shariff can not legally approve any maamul gobeeled that has xamar in it. So if you guys are still part of this Federal game, you are prevented from the moment from having such a recognized state.

Green, London is the capital of what was the British Empire, england was the main part, and they had held welsh, and by force Scottland and Ireland. You should know better than me that, UK has never been a federal country. So you can't make the comparison. United states, which is made of state government and a federal government is what we are trying to achieve, Washington D.C. is it's own District as the seat of the government. Now it has a civil government, with a mayor. And as the majority you guys shouldn't fret loosing "control", of the city.

Losing power is not the point and i can use London because we are trying to compromise, since this federal thing came so that everyone can govern themselves then we have think of ways of letting everyone governing what they see as theirs or else its going to make a group of people feel like they are being the ones who must make the sacrifice. we don't want to start on the wrong foot by deciding certain peoples fate. they should have at least been asked lakiin to say tough luck everyone can make up their rules but this town, well this town anaa u hadleeyno is kinda ceeb and people feel disrespected.

Addoow, Madaxwaynihii Somalia oo Beesha Abgaal ka tiirsan, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, consented, whether by choice or not, that every qabil has a right to a say in what happens to Mogadishu. I'm in agreement with that.

As for the deportation, a lot of people got killed and deported for being a certain clan in mogadishu.

As for prosperity, Mogadishu is already the most prosperous city in Somalia, despite being ravaged by war for 2 decades, with every qabil having a piece of it.

As for justice, too early to tell, it could be that with it being under a maamul goboleed, it could lead to more injustice, or more justice, can't say.

As for just sitting down and accepting it, beesha abgaal has already seen enough war and fighting, and abgaal is not going to start a fighting when things are going better, besides do you forget amisom?
