May Allah not put us in that position, ameen.

I know a couple of somali women who were told that there were carrying DS or seriously defected child and offered for abortion. One was told to make a decision within 2 weeks. Neither of them EVEN pundered on such decision. It was straight no, with a scorn in their faces. One gave full-birth and the child dead minutes later. And the other have had a lovely health boy.

But I know cases that somali women aborted their unborn child claiming that they had too many
Why not use contraception them

Abortion is not that clear cut in Islam.

The onus is on you to explain or just not make those kind of statements ...

Thats how bi'dah starts when people make statements they can't back up

there are some scholars who advocate in the cases of rape ...

However As I am not a scholar I don't have much of an opinion on it ...

other then its Haram ...

Putting needles in the stomach of women to see if a childs disabled or not ....

Its pointless as muslims we should be happy with wateva Allaah willed for us ..

It is those children that on the day of Qiyama get Gathered togheter and send to Jannaah no Questions asked ...

They aren't a burden they are a Blessing ...

I like to share a real Life story with you guys ...

This old lady from Somaliland Told me how she was the youngest child of the Second wife of a Old man ...

He had so many children that her older brothers whom were around the age of her mother (second wife) ..

Would leave her and her brother in the Mie (wilderness)

To starve to death as toddlers she said sometimes she would be so thirsty she would drink her own urine ...

She would watch her family eat while they starved her ...

As a child and haven been abandont she somehow made it to become a teenagers ...

and found her way through the arab state and in Europe Allaah blessed her with marriage and a rich husband ...


Now 30 years later That same child and her brother that was viewed as a burden and a extra mouth to feed ...

are the Sole Supporter of the WHOLE FAMILY...

She built Business, She owns the houses they live in ...

She provides for them ..

She sends them money back home ...

Without HER and HER brother...

That family would be in poverty and on the brink of starvation ..

Hmmm Food for thought you guys ....

I think the sister meant to say that there are times that abortion is permisible. For example, if the mother's life or health is at risk. Islam is merceful religion and practical.

But it would be wrong a woman to abort a child just she had too many

At your age and at these times where abortion is such a hot topic, you should have at the very least a rudimentary knowledge about what the Islamic stance on it is. Scholars do not all agree that it is completely Haraam, some scholars say it is okay within 40 days {before the Ruh is breathed into the baby by angels} etc. Now if you are looking to be spoon fed then I refuse and if you want to research it further, there's a wealth of information on the internet at your disposal. If you can't get over your laziness, then keeping barking bidca.

The abortion issue is Uncertain, as I think the whole 40 days its more to do so with the Rape cases more so then any other situation ...

There is no confusion in Islam ...

If their is a uncertainty You must STILL abstain ...

The Quran Clearly says ..

“And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We shall provide for them as well as for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin”

Also The Quran say Create more Muslim and Abortion is a Clear Contradictory to that ..

I think a better solution would be to tell the women keep your legs closed and not harm the innocent foetus growing inside of you ....

and I know You can get Fatwa's If It endangers the Mothers life ...

Then its permissible ...

Or in some rape cases ...

and even then you need witnesses ...

And doctors Statements ...

But abortion on a whole is haram ...
