Easier said then done, most of these men have no family to support them and they probably have family to feed themselves. If they already have a criminal record they cannot even get a job so its a vicious cycle. its not as black and white as you make it appear. the system is intended to keep the blacks down.

so they turn to crime and we should feel sympathetic to that, consider it alright, pardon it?

We should focus on rehabilitation and providing positive services that will allow them to live a decent civilian life instead of demonizing them that's all I am saying.

I used to think the same, but fact of the matter is no one goes to jail on a first offense, unless it's something serious. These dudes likely have had a few run-ins with COPS before ending up in prison. I consider each of those arrests a warning that they should've changed their behaviour.

nah man, that's what i call the Tyrone excuse, at the end of the day its you who have done the crime not someone else.yes the system is messed up but it comes down to you whether u wanna act gangster and shit or stay away from trouble and bad friends/influence.

Friend of mine went for 2 years in 2008 for stealing a car. He just beat the shid outta some dude with a friend and got convicted and is being sentenced to between 8-20 years. Its just hard to feel bad for someone though when they don't even seem to care. I just feel bad for their Mother, Sister.

Let them go and stay in jail, that just leaves us free ones with more somali gals to choose from

I think I've watched enough movies to know that most men with less then ideal bulk size won't do too well in jail.

It isn't necessarily the company you keep. It's you growing up in a city crawling with Somalis. Everyone has cousins, family friends, and even long time friends getting towed with STUPID shit.Had few folks I know locked up for the dumbest shit you could think of, some served months while others did years. When it comes to my guy cousins & friends, half of them are college educated and stay out of trouble. The other half, waa qac, they're the ones you wouldn't want to get on their bad side. So, it all balances. The hardest nigga in the paint who did 8 years can turn out to be your BF, you never know why he got into what he did. Like I said before, everyone's story is different! You can't judge a book by it's cover. Does that mean I keep bad company? NO!
