Thuga,
This song follows the classic lilaw genre.
I could only capture this;
Naf iga maqanbaa
Indhu qeysto

Naxdin baa qalbiga

Naruuro garaar na siye

Hayaay naruuro garaar na siyo
Daalayow garowga

Blackvelvet, soo wacdaro ma aha inadeer? I am impressed by the three ladies, my kind of ladies, xusul baruur nimcatul fashuuq.

Hyper, This is the background; imagine sitting at home having cleaned your apartment, cooked, ironed etc and you suddenly feel lonely and become homesick? You look for old songs and you hit Gold! This is what happened to me this afternoon. I am in the mood.

As regards the dance, adeer, whether we like it or not somalis do this kind of stuff and many things. In fact, I strongly believe that fighting this kind of innocent dances will lead to worse things; underground kind of. This is already happening everywhere where somalis wear a big xijaab on the streets but when dusk comes they wear nothing but nigis :lol:

Aniga iyo adiga Qabri dahare ayaan aadeynaa saaxib. In the hunt for reer baadiyo ladies

Thuga,
Leave my cousin alone!!! This is from Hablayahoow hadmaad guursan doontaa. She was playing the role of a young woman who was soliciting money from a sugar daddy. Her character was the gold digger girl

Adeerkiisa we have more problems today than people dancing to the tune of a song. Iimey was the birthplace of the great Sayid Maxamed Abdille Hassan, so they should be some spinsters.

Tribalism is the biggest problem. The source is the cancer called tribe- a primitive institution- which is killing our people. Paradoxically, tribalism is not viewed as a fitnah or danuub! You will see around somalinet people who condone the deaths of somalis in the name of tribalism

the trabilism is the thonoob and Allah laku 3asiyey. so that's the root. once one clean their heart and back to Allah, there wouldnt be trabilism. Allah's teaching ba laka fogaadey.

some of the wise men said: people are 3 kind;
1- one doing good to avoid the punishment;that's slave mentality.
2- one doing good cause wants reward, good life, peace, jannah , happiness etc ; that's tajir/trader's mentality.
3- doing the good deeds cause he is doing out of love of Allah, that's al mohseniin.

if he saw somalis he would add the 4th one!!

Well, why is it that the wadaads (Alpha believes that I am anti-wadaad) are silent? You will hear them condoning tribalism with statements such as Allah said " we made you into tribes to know each other" while forgeting that Allah meant the somali tribe and not reer qarmuun and reer jaahil.
