I have never seen a somali with a western name, other than a nickname.

But it's actually a very traditional Somali name: Rumaan, but with western spelling of our names, it turned into Roman by coincidence.

What about Baarliin and Aasiya? I thought they were derived from the German city of Berlin and the Oriental continent Asia.

Yurub does mean Europe Abdi
Just like Baarliin means Berlin

Hippie.. The only Spanish names that start with 'S' I know is... Susana (I actually know a Somali female called this) and Saliina..
Ow and Soffia?..
