I plan on putting them in the extreme section and making the title a clear indication of it's contents, so people who consider it too inappropriate shouldn't be clicking on such threads in the first place. Besides the sexual scenarios are not the main plot, a couple of kisses here and there but nothing major.BlackVelvet wrote:It's a nice idea in theory lakin how much offense you cause will depend on any mention of romantic interludes, stolen kiss...remember Somali men and women don't even walk down the street holding hands. The heroine's qabiil will be particularly worse off becuase you would be indirectly calling their women loose.

It was actually more of a joke, I don't actualy plan on including any qabils in my stories. And yes I can write stories without involving qabils. And they are more historical than fantasy, although I may include a bit of science fiction later on.HippoTT wrote:Why even add qabiil? Look at every major Western fantasy writer, they write in a way that unites the west, remember 'Men of the West' in Lord of the Rings? Westeros in a Game of thrones?
You will have a greater audience if you delete qabiil, which doesn't add anything to a story other than disintergrating Somalis, and if you somehow can't write a decent story without the mention of qabiil, then atleast keep it on the periphery. This is fantasy fiction, right? Escapism? Then write something different, if the average Somali wants to read about qabiil, love and politics, they can just click on hundreds of Somali websites on the net.

The revenge is against the father not the girl, and she eventually falls in love with him.kambuli wrote:Take the first one out..It is an offense to a whole clan called OG..They don't revenge against women...
Don't worry though, hearing the words "qabil erotica" has made me realize how extremely unsexy clans are.

I've told you before this is simply for writing purposes, I'm trying to improve my writing skills through short stories and I'm using you guys for free critiques. And historical romances aren't the only thing I plan on writing about. I'm also going to write some futuristic, fantasy (something involving dragons), periodical, and much more.Colonel wrote:Just stop, this makes you and Xalimos in general look extremelly horny
If you really want to do it then do so in a private section of the forum which won't be seen by the whole world.
But you've been repeating this horny thing a lot. Kinda makes me wonder if someone got turned on while reading my story and doesn't want to admit it.
