Walaahay I am not making this up; many Makaahiil sub clans think that it is a shame to address a Mareexaan person as "Mareexaan".

As far as I am concerned the name Mareexaan is synonymous with "Midgo". They are the only clan in the Daarood tree that absorbed their Midgaans.
