I think what Emperior was trying to really say was; "Qabil Politics is bad for Isaaq tribe".

I Really dont get this satisfaction you lot get from seeing the rest of your country men suffer (yes the whole world considers them your countrymen) but I can assure you little idoor freind, somalia will outlive and outshine your little clan enclave that has been in stagnation for the past 22 years, the only thing diffarent between hargeysa today and xamar is instability in terms of development xamar is more developed in terms of trade xamar get more trade annually, and politicaly in the eyes of teh international community xamar is the adult sitting with the rest of the world (albeit in a compromised position at the current moment), while your ilk are in the shadows, saxiib the times are changing fast how long can the triangle keep up the charade?.
speaking of inter clan warfare wasnt there (I believe in 2003) a war that left your "country" to the brink, between habar x and habar Y, dont like its smiles and sunshine in the traingle when we all know it aint.

Re: Qabiil Politics is bad for Somalia
Look nobody can actually deny the fact the Issaq are the most united tribe of Somalis only second to the gadabursi
, but I would argue that with time {peace} others can eventually get there .
Caveat: Territorial disposition as well as recent historical factors could pose a problem for the Daarood .
That's why in the Somalia of the future , each tribe should be encouraged to forge a political alliance with its immediate , other tribe, neighbour .
The majeerten with the Habar Gidir , so on and so forth .

I remember how dirty your last political cycle was when siilanyo and that gadabursi fellow where competing
Its start with rethoric then progresses to skirmishes than to full out war...However unlike your kind I am not wishing for your failure and enjoying every may 118th you celebrate as an un-recognized, backward breakway region of somalia.. isntead I will stay out of your "countries" politics, if you stay out of mine. As for which of the two will come out on top..Lets have time be the decider..
Peace saxib.

khalid or empiror or whatever nick you might have hiding in the corner, you need to stop deluding yourself saxiib, the only thing that is keeping the dream of somaliland alive right now is the fact that there is now stable government in the south, from it conception somaliland was nothing more than an ethiopian proxxy state that paid of quite handsomely for the habeshi, and when push comes to shove the regime in somaliland behave like nothing more than brutes and thugs, as shown during the who media man hunt that followed the talex confrence, now the dhulbahante want to break away after then the little clan in "awdal" will want to break away, current they dont have the power but how long do you think you can keep a people oppressed and under your dictator-esc rule. Instead of focusing on what happening in the south you should focus on how to end the stagnation that is the current status quo is SL.khalid ali wrote:the last elections were good and its all talks every one can support what ever party he wants , in Somaliland talks and threaten each other but its stays with that u have to understand the Somaliland political culture and how they deal with things.

I thought the Dhulbahante were part of Puntland how can they break away from Somaliland if they were part of you to begin with these majeerteen kids are so confused we have been hearing that nonsense since 21 years its getting boring Somaliland is so and so because Somalia is so and so start changing build you're country get rid of the terrorists pirates making you're country look bad. Walahi Politics in Somalia is getting very interesting with heir new constitution and end transition. Somaliland current status is perfect it controls the vast majority of their nation the country is moving forward President siilaanyo is showing good will to have talks with Somalia only on his condition. Somalia turing into federal states is good in the long term for Somaliland its all working togethermody21 wrote:khalid or empiror or whatever nick you might have hiding in the corner, you need to stop deluding yourself saxiib, the only thing that is keeping the dream of somaliland alive right now is the fact that there is now stable government in the south, from it conception somaliland was nothing more than an ethiopian proxxy state that paid of quite handsomely for the habeshi, and when push comes to shove the regime in somaliland behave like nothing more than brutes and thugs, as shown during the who media man hunt that followed the talex confrence, now the dhulbahante want to break away after then the little clan in "awdal" will want to break away, current they dont have the power but how long do you think you can keep a people oppressed and under your dictator-esc rule. Re: Qabiil Politics is bad for Somalia
Werent you the one taht was talking about how dhulbahante are your countrymen the otherday and how the are the ones that secure their part of SSC for somaliland, we all know if not for dhulbahante traitors that joined your camp in the 2000s you wouldnt even see lascanood, I dont know why your pretending to be a ten year old. As for somaliland being in a position of leverage in the current somali political system
. The only thing Somaliland is good at as of now if political self isolation, I can assure you the moment there is an agreement on federal system in the south, somaliland will be re-incorporated into somalia by bank or by blood lets just see how things turn out shall we?.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!Eaglehawk wrote:ogaden and marexaan are gigantic clans it’s hard to share, its like asking soviet and america to share the world, imposable both have their own design that fit to their grand strategykhalid ali wrote:There where about 4 or 5 sultanates before the Colonialists arrived in Somaliland you had the mullahs of the Habr awal in berbera you had sharmarke ali salih baashe the Amiir of Seylac you had Xirsi Amaan in burco to sanaag , you had sultaan farax of the ciidagalle running the herer and daror and you had the Warsangali running xeebta Laasqoray Thats how it was before the colonialist, habr yunis had a sultanate before the colonialist since the late 18 century also the Habr awal had a sultanate before the Colonialist.
So who is competing with who in kismayo Darod ogaden Merexaan what is so special about ogaden and merexaan cant they share the so called Kismayo.
how come many darod subclans in bosaaso shared the city dasishe majeeerteen warsangali arab salih etc
Political clanism is bad for Somalia.
Khalid ali it seems you don`t know the difference between legitimate historical Somali sultanate and sub clan territorial rule
For example the cidagale suldan is universally regarded as part of golaha daqanka somaliyeed, the rest you mentioned used to come under him
Ugaaska marexaan or imamka mudulood would not sit with habar awal or habar yonis suldan, why because in the ranks of saldanaha your suldaan is reer guleed cidagale
Isaaq never had decentralisation like hawiye and darood, for decentralisation to happened you need to carve out new territory which happened in the case of daarood after the death of the last daarood king maxamed daud which every darood sub clan claimed their own autonomy which the daarood crown excepted as means of xal
