what a sad state our cosmopolitan city has suffered in the hands of marauding thugs, while little places unknown have been claimed and built by its long abandoned residents, Xamar with all its wealth and infrastructure did not escape the wrath of its dumb inhabitants. Xamar's rebirth will only benefit its own people who have stayed behind while the rest of Somalia has moved forward. Call me crazy, but i am not so optimistic to believe that the guys who sold Somali airline's parts to the world yesteryear will eventually abandon their old ways. Ilaahay ha u fududeeyo.
