Couldn't have said it better. It was one of those times that without is better than a leftover.

Remember,u also not know why she married the other man.Not the whole was shared.

Did he really wait or parted ways and found each other now?

Agree. Had she loved him she would have married him in the first place( unless there is more to the story like if she was forced to marry someone else against her wish) other than that I do not believe you marry someone after 22 yrs. Bloody noneseness. He was hang on to her all those yrs, but she just married him( because she is old and have no other chances, perhaps).
Was there no therapy back then in Somalia?

Her*? If there's blame to be placed anywhere, it would be her. But he is just as worthy of criticism.

And from what know here, that's enough to be worthy of blame.

Cige died for his love, or sagaaro had a happy ending love story, or wiilo's chair was made of milk powder etc ... these kinda of soft talks were not known for real Somalis like Raage Ugaas, marka maxaa dadkan ka si ah? Seems say Wallahi generations are headless like a woyane in Daakhato.

waryaa wrote:There was this story on the Radio I think is worth sharing.

One of the most famous Somali song writers whose name is Bidde (I'll get his first name) has hundreds and hundreds of songs and many theatrical plays under his belt. If you are like me and never heard about him before, chances are you heard many of his songs. He was asked which song was his favorite. He picked a song he wrote after the women he loved married another man. I was truly heart broken, he said. Who said old somali men don't know anything about love?

To make it short, He didn't mention whether her husband passed away or she got divorced, he hooked up with her after 22 years and she is now his dear wife - happy ending  :rose:
Aw, that's sweet but one shouldn't marry for love I've concluded! It's fickle and fleeting.
