Every country has its own rules and not sure why people blaming Gulf Arab governments for denying citizenship to non-Gulf Arabs? It is their country and they have the right to deny whomever they don't wish to remain in their own countries. Have you ever heard of any one becoming Chinese citizen? Or a non-Jew migrating to Israel and becoming a citizen? Expecting any thing different from Gulf Arabs is just bullsh-t.

Prayer police? There is no prayer police in UAE, QATAR, Bahrain, and Oman. For Saudi Arabia, it is the home of Islam's holiest shrines. It is a good measure to make usre people conduct their religious duties.

"women can't wear pum pum shorts either in public?" Really? If the Gulf Arabs don't want their fellow Muslim women to be westernized, and are adamant of keeping their Gulf Arab values, there is nothing wrong with it. Being fully or half naked increases wickedness and evil deeds.

Countries go through their own transitions and changes, and Gulf Arabs are no different. The last thing that any Muslim should expect is change dictated from outside!

That would be all well and good if the royal family members did not drink until their livers gave out.
the last thing a Muslim should expect from a Muslim nation is brotherly love is what I am getting from your rationale, China and Israel are not Muslim nations therefor I don't expect them to allow immigrants let alone Muslims to become citizens, you can't have it both ways America as bad as it is portrayed to be lets anyone become a citizen can't say the same for these holier than though Arab states that Somalis worship which will never allow them to become citizens.

^Why do you criticize certain countries not to give you a citizenship? I have seen Somalis who have become citizens in Gulf Arab countries. They live in Saudi Arabia, in Qatar, and in Oman. As a matter fact, at some point, Omani police force were led by a Somali who was born and grew up there. The expectation that any Muslim can be a citizen of the Gulf Arab countries does not make sense at all. These countries have their own rules, and they have the right to choose who stays in and who gets out. The only criticism that any Muslim can have for them is their association with certain powers and their land and resources being used on other Muslims. That is the only criticism.

For drinking, different Somali leaders that we all support are all drunkards who allow their people to starve and become a destitute. Truth is a Somali is in no position to criticize any Arab or Muslim for that matter.

nigga don't know what you on, I can and will criticize whomever I please I didn't make Somalia a shit hole nor do I condone the stupidity of not having a central government for 20 years with that said I'm tired of Somalis thinking just because their country is a shit hole they have to hold their tongue, madaxaan sare uu qaadaa markaan socdo anigu sankana waan ka hadlaa markaan hadlayo anigu hadaad adigu hoos eegtid marku dhagacas iyo ajanabiga ku ag joogaan waa sheeko gooni ah oo adiga kuu taala.

Samatr, that's Saudi Arabia you're talking about. Rest of the Khaleej women wear whatever they like and there's no such thing as ''prayer police''. Plus why should you get citizenship? You're not a Khaleeji Arab. If Somalia was full of foreigners, should we hand out citizenship like candy? :?

Is Somali citizenship more valuable than American, British, Norwegian and Swedish? I've heard somalis complaining about the fact that a foreigner can get citizenship within 5 years...strange....really. You can live in these gulf countries for 30 years and they would still not give you citizenship.
