Ethiopia could be the breadbasket of east Africa (and it will be soon), it could have nuclear reactors, skyscrapers, whatever etc and Somalis will still believe they're are backward raw meat eating habashis unfit to enjoy the fruits of modernity.

If it wasn't for the brain-dead Zoomalis, ethiopia would be the poster-child for failure and incompetence - in a continent already known for under-achieving despite the amount of resources at it's disposal. Ethiopia is on AID like a dying person on life-support. It has huge unemployment and under-development. Given it's history and resources (human and natural) it should be a super-power but is one of the poorest nations on earth due to mismanagement, corruption and typical african laziness. And that's ignoring it's ethnic tension time-bomb waiting to explode into another civil war.

No amount of sky-scrapers will make addis ababa less of a shithole, let alone the rest of the country.

Give Somalia peace and a proper government and we'll outstrip those fckers in less than a decade. Now all we have to do is generate a couple more brain-cells and stop killing eachother - no easy task it seems.

I don't know how you sleep at night with this uncontrollable hatred (more likely jealously) you have for Ethiopians.

I always hear this. Somalia would've been an economic powerhouse, a beacon of prosperity across africa, they would have been this...and that........."if only we had peace". Look son, we can't talk about what ifs because we just don't know. It's obvious you'd rather talk about far fetched hypotheticals rather than reality, because reality is harsh -- Somalia is earth's hell. Ethiopia is top 5 in GDP growth.

Unemployment? Under development? Somalia takes the cake in both these categories don't know what you're talking about. Oh wait......this is only because there is no peace in Somalia right?

Believe what you want I don't do jealousy, I'm a man. I'm just being brutally honest. Also it's well known ethiopia's gdp growth percentage is exaggerated and misconstrued by it's government for political purposes. Yes Somalia is a shithole, and yes it's very embarrassing as I have already mentioned. Lakiin I'm a firm believer that if peace comes and if we are blessed with leaders who aren't self-surving prostitutes, we will prosper. That's a lot of Ifs but it's all in Allah's hands.

Stop being emotional. Peace is neccessary to economic growth, even a toddler can see that. Without a stable country and a government, who is gonna invest in Somalia? Without a functioning government, who is gonna build infrastrcuture and keep the country secure?
