If your spouse has a password on their phone and makes a point of hiding it then yeah you probably shouldn't trust them. No one will look through a phone that is always left around the house, unless the person is a nutcase.

Does having a password on the phone mean hiding something tho?BlackVelvet wrote:If your spouse has a password on their phone and makes a point of hiding it then yeah you probably shouldn't trust them. I wouldn't demand it, I would ask why he has a password and why he feels uncomfortable letting me use his phone. His answer would probably determine whether that would be the end of that relationship.

Agah! Are you serious? Whats the point of committing to a lifelong marriage with a person if you do not trust them?

Haddaana? or Ofcourse!
But it should be mutual..If he is willing to share everything with me I will share every thing with him. Having said that, sometimes certain things are too much..One may talk/chat to an old schoolmate/collegue at work/aquaintances or distant relative , there shouldn't be any jeolousy envolved with those kind of innocent encounters. I have seen a women who would laugh and chat with many men some of them were men whom she dated but she will get crazy if her husband talks to any women..That kind of attitude is sickening..

No. A wife or husband is entitled to a certain privacy.sahal80 wrote:do they have the right to check eachothers mobile? also going out without saying where to? dealing with the different gender( your friends, her kinsmen, businessmen and forth )

Re: will you trust your spouse?
Mobile phones ruin a good relationship
I personally don't think two couples should hide things from each other. Plus if you trust each other there's no reason to go through each others phones. Why would you even marry a person if you don't trust them enough to not go through their phone?
