Re: Somalinet Chat
I went on there like three times with three different nicks (which shall remain undisclosed). What a crazy place. Some of the debates are quite interesting, but it always ends up going back to tribes
There's cool people on there, horny people (wtf some guy was called horny_khalid or something and popped up with the same line for all three of my nicks
) and a couple ancient people who were shocked by my age (which shall also remain undisclosed). But yeah,

I went on it for the first time the other day and I was truly scared for my life. As soon as I logged in I had six pms (all males) asking me questions from 'how are you doing?' to really graphic stuff that I don't think is appropriate to share on this Muslim site. So, I ask you all. Do you go on it? If so how often? And, what is your nick on there
(share with us). And, finally what is the funniest/scariest thing you've read on there.
Me:
Some guy wrote me a poem on the spot talking about I'm the love of his life and how he wanted me to be his queen.I couldn't help but laugh (sorry, dude if you're reading this).
you didn't like my poem.

Re: Somalinet Chat
Went to the chat a number of times and guys there are so sick and filthy. There was this woman with the name deeqa who would start with "Somalis in Europe are poor" or "they live on welfare" don't know whether she' still there. There was a time when someone took the nick deeeqa (with three e's) and they'd spend all their time fighting about who the real one was. She'd always whine about all kinds of mental illness.
In my case, I'd try out male names and i'd remain ignored for a long time. But when i tried out names like "Shy17" or "sweet fatima
" my! I'd get like 7PMs from guys telling me all kinds or rubbish; but some were really polite.

I used to go on there years ago when I was a kid. I stopped when this xalimo came to my private and told me she was taking off her bra and I got excited in an unhealthy way

Not really, no. This here is far more random and unaccountable.Twist wrote:LOL @ Byootuhful & Keyblade.![]()
PS: Never been there (though I think I tried it once when I was new and it didn't work for me). Is it similar to that one of ex Slife?
I remember that name.The-Screw wrote:I used the name Common... a very long time ago.

Thanks, Alpha.
Do any of the 'Cool Lounge' members go there? Is it worth-visiting?

I used to go years ago. I've met some amazing people that I've kept in touch with for years. I think if you can sift through the nonsense, you'll come across interesting folks. The problem is, it's entirely unaccountable, so users will have multiple usernames. It's difficult to keep track of who's who.
If you didn't care much for the Slife chatroom, you'll certainly hate this place.

Wasn't that much on the Slife one, apart from few times & that ^^ comment of yours is enough for me not to go on this too.The problem is, it's entirely unaccountable, so users will have multiple usernames. It's difficult to keep track of who's who.

Re: Somalinet Chat
Kind of, but the Slife chatroom required a link in order to make or change a username (for those who weren't aware of how to change it on their own). The other problem were the numerous "anonymous" users.
But the difference between that room and the rooms here are the number of users. 9 vs 90. Though usually it doesn't feel like more than a handful chatting.

Re: Somalinet Chat
One of the reasons I hardly visited the Slife one was that it was empty half of the time. I remember members asking people to come on the Chat room for chit chat. lol
