Let's put you and your insider friends to test; where do you see al-Shabaab 6-12 months from now? I bookmarked this topic.

They do not have initiation and other systems of vetting members like sufi dariqas do, they are a political organization.
It is because of this that they have been infiltrated by british intelligence very early in the 1930's and there are several factions that are completley controlled by western intelligence,
just like other Islamist groups are.

there are also independent factions and factions aware of their infiltration.
its a big mess, all muslim organizations are infiltrated by western intelligence, the Muslim brotherhood is one of the more thoroughly compromised ones.

its doesnt mean that you should write them off.

in this chaotic situation i doubt even the western controllers know what they are doing, or are able to control events like they used to.

sometimes chaos is a good thing.
You're confusing the MB or other Islamist organizations/movements with secular ones. For instance, Qaddafi had more military power and wealth than the Taliban, yet unfolded in a few months with fewer foreign enemies than those fighting the Taliban. There's also Hezbollah who have yet to be "infiltrated." Clearly, the MB isn't a secular entity that's easy to infiltrate and corrupt. Al-Shabaab is another ample example where "infiltration" has failed, where a superpower and several vassal forces failed to subdue them so far (close to a decade).
It may sound fantastic but its not really even a conspiracy theory, it is well known in the egypt and the middle east.
you know what you can ask any Egyptian person you might know odds are that he will be aware of this as well.
If you want to hear if from the others side as well you can read this new book from 2010
Mark Curtis’ latest book, Secret Affairs: Britain’s Collusion with Radical Islam (Serpent’s Tail, 2010)
His sources are declassified documents from the British government, they are from the 1941 and were declassified in the mid 90's.

As i said it is a complex situation today and nobody has any real control, as there are factions within factions in the brotherhood , these are interesting times.

does he really have this much support or is the army orchestrating massive vote rigging.

i mean how in hell did he get more votes than amer musa, who is even mmore popular than mohamed morsi?

so you're an atheist? you've been added to the beheading-list.
HELL NO!
THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD WAS FOUNDED BY MUSLIM FREEMASONS AND INFLUENCE BY THE BRITISH MASONIC BROTHERHOOD.
That's total BS. Do you know Wahhabism which is practiced in Saudi Arabia is due to the muslim brotherhood?

You're off the beheading-list since you said you aint atheist

Same spot they are in now. Neither dominating nor defeated. A parasite that still is clinging for continues relevancy.

What if you're proven wrong?

I won't be. They will only come to power if the AU leaves and the Shabab would fight amongst themselves eventually due to qabil, strategy, matters of fiqh, etc
