I hope the Cavs win it so they can draft Anthony Davis...imagine him in the frontcourt and Kyrie Irving in the backcourt :-O

That's the freshly-minted Rookie of the Year and last draft's #1 overall pick (who's a PG, the most important position along with center) next to this year's consensus #1 overall pick who's the prohibitive favorite to win ROY and plays the center position...that'll instantly make them an automatic lock for the playoffs and if Tristan Thompson continues to develop (which he should cuz he's 6'9 and was playing out of position as an undersized center, but can shift back to his natural position at the 4 if the Cavs draft Davis), that'll be a solid core for a future championship run with a few key signings

Yungfresh,

I don't know if Tristan Thompsan can be a 4 in this league. The NBA is different now, a 4 man is expected to be able to handle the ball, have 3 point range. You're seeing a lot of offenses with just 1 pure center and a perimeter 4. This year saw guys like Melo, Lebron play the 4 for huge chunks of the year.

I think Minneahopless deserve to get the first pick in this lottery bc they look like a breakthrough team who are in need of just a little tweeking. Best believe that they r the future residents of the playoffs!

Yeah but Melo & Lebron are natural 3's who played the 4 to create mismatches...Tristan Thompson is a true low-post player who needs to sharpen his offensive game but can still rebound and defend. He's not the Euro 4 who's tall as fuck but drifts out to the perimeter.

In other news, New Orleans is now officially a playoff team if Eric Gordon resigns...plus they got the 10th pic too in a deeeep draft. I won't be surprised if they have a busy offseason too cuz NOLA just became somewhere players won't mind playing.
