As for Hizbul Islam, they were no were near as extreme as Al-Shabab. Before the merger, they only executed 2 people for murder and adultery (a man who was married and cheated on his wife).Executive wrote:Fighter

He is fighting for an Islamic state. He might be misguided but you can't put him on the same league as the real terrorists. This is the same man who fought to bring the Ogaden into Somalia jurisdiction and fought the Ethiopians who invaded in 2006. If along the way of achieving his goals, he killed a couple of Tigreys, then yes, he has blood on his hands.
