Lets be real people!! In as much as we all want to overcome the whole inter-clan marriage, I actually think she's justified in her concern. These things are never talked about, but they actually exist. If given a choice I think parents would always pick the closer person over the shisheeye.(I would too) Granted there are those that are religious mashallah and don't really give a damn, but majority fall under the afore mentioned category.

TBH I also cringe when I think my future kids inshallah could be any other qabil other than mine. Serious. Its not a matter of looking down on the other qabils I just want my kids to be my qabil. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want this at the expense of his deen. I always make ducaa that I get a God fearing guy from my qabil.
