OMG I remember once in Taraweeh, bunch of fob girls were sitting infront of us, and they all smelt like suugo. I almost threw up. I sat all the way at the back next to these Pakistani girls and it got worse.

Things are different..There is "Sweat smell"" and "shiir qadhmuun"..If the shiir is from someone who washed himself nicely but didn't use deodrant and one can smell a trace of sweat smell it is tolerable...But the freaking uskag qadhmuun...Acuudu Bilaah  There is this guy that works with us..believe me I hold my breath when he is passing by..Not only his sheer is what is smelling..It feels like his clothing were in a dark place wet for a long time..In other words it is called in Somali "Huyac"..Uff  Wax la merjiyo ayuu istaahilaa

These guys are in their 20s and early 30s.
then keep your nose away from losers---buggy-pants-type of guys.

if you just disassociate yourself with such people and then associate yourself with successful Somali guys then i guarantee your experience will be astonishingly different.

in short, may be you should stay home more and not go out so often! that's what a good girl should do.

Are you kidding me right now? I don't associate with ghetto guys, infact the only the Somali guys I associate with are my high school friends, they're not hoodlums. I was talking about guys coming up to me whenever I go a place filled with Somalis.
And what year are we? staying at home a like a good girl? seriously?

I know because I wasn't even that close to her to smell her breathe, I was chewing gum then I offered her, then she went off on me, saying you shouldn't offer gum to people if they didn't ask you first, blah blah, and here I thought I was being nice. :|

"you can take the somali out of Somalia but you can't take the Somalia out of the somali" dheh.

I have noticed when other immigrant groups come to the west e.g. Indians, chinese etc. wey ilbaxaan and they become more professional than they were in mumbai or shanghai - just go to their restaurants and shops. But a skinny who comes to the west becomes more badow than the ones back home.
