Since the collapse of the then central government and the last real government we had these Garre familiy squating on our farm land in MARKA. Clan wise we dont settle that area anymore and migrated to safe zones dominated by our kin. Though we have the owner ship paper that proves the land belongs to us these thugs are still squating and do not want to leave. They even went to the ninjas that are in control of the area puting claims on the land. Their argument is that we should have not gotten the land as it belonged to them and that the then government illegally gave it to us. The current clan dynamics do not favor our family but i am entertaining on going back and taking whats ours by force.

BTW, i didn't know these guys settled in MARKA and always thought it was a HAWIYE and BARAWANI town.
lol, u got both wrong. Marka is a Biimaal and reer marka cad cad town.

and oh yea forget about that land
Thx for the 411 but i also thought BARAWANI and CAD CAD as being one. :|

About the land, i dont think i'll be able to forget about it.
reer xamar, reer marka, brawaani, are all cad cad but different. There are also Carabta Somalia who u shouldn't confuse with these groups. It's complicated lol

well i suggest u wait until a real government is in place and there is peace, stability and a real sense of a justice system. Otherwise it's just opening up a big mess.

Kaas waa reer Marka markii lagu yiraahdo, ha u maleynin inuu cad cad kasoo jeedo. Mid Xawaadle ah oo aan garanaayo ayaa la yiraahdaa waa reer Marka, lahjadiisa waa iska barawaani laakiin waa Xawaadle. Reer Marka waxaa loo yaqaan dadka meeshaas ka soo jeeda degaan ahaan, has nothing to do with their qabiil. It's the same thing with reer Xamar, reer Jowhar, reer Qoryooley, reer Kismaayo. Cad cad have nothing to do with it in this case.

Its just a farm especially considering you lot claim Belet Xawo (Garre/Murule/Degodie), Bardheere (Raxanwein), El Waq (Garre), Kismayo (Bajuni, Sheikhal, Galjeceel).

Garre, Gaaljecel, Dir, Shiekhaal and others are really dispersed all over the country so it does not surprise me at all if local Garre Moriyaan are occupying your family's property, get back your property from them I suspect those who have your property are poor opportunistic squatters, just show them you are there and willing to fight for what is yours and they will leave you alone, Marka is not that far away from Kismaayo so you should be alright.

one thing you should know bro, nobody cares about Kacaan anti or pro, everyone is fokin each other over in Somalia, it really boils down to who has power and who does not.

You should absolutely get those squatters to sod off, but I would advice you to sell the property outside of Marehan land, and in future ONLY invest in Marehan hubs like Kismaayo, Beledxaawo, Caabudwaaq and the Baadiyo close to those cities, and as long as you are close to a Marehan city it does not matter if the miyi area is not a Marehan area, I personally own livestock in Qooqaani and I have good relation with the locals who take care of my animals.

embrace the new reality of Somalia, my family would not have sold the summer house in Buurhakabo if it had been closer to Caabudwaaq or any Marehan city, unfortunately it was in a sea of Eelays and Eyle, so we sold up fast and we were better for it.
