These people owe our friend udun an apology.
Re: President Siilaanyo makes peace with SSC jabhad leader
These Eydoors have no shame. They are making big deal out of meeting between Xaglatoosiye and Siilaanyo. If Shariif Axmed and Siilaanyo can meet, why not Xaglatoosiye and Siilaanyo? To me, a meeting is not a big issue, but the truth of what has been discussed needs to be known. Since SL abandoned its recognition pit and accepted to be a Somali regional state, according to the communication that came out of the Siilaayo/Shariif Axmed meeting, people can meet; however, the challenging question is, did Xaglatoosiye accepted SL bogus propoganda?
Shacabkamedia.com is reporting another meeting between Siilaanyo and another guy
. Not sure why you Eydoor bogus believers are not even talking about it
For Eydoors who kept repeated occupation and nonsense in this forum, go to LA and tell that to Mahad Canbaashe. He sure will put a painful bullet in your chest that your Eydoria will do nothing about it. So, you need to cut crap as we are not like Beesha Sii-Gurguuro-Soo-Gurguuro who were crushed in 1995 and had to accept marginalization in Isaaq territories
Cali-Gaab, adigu boorash baad tahay, halkan dagaal sokeeye ka furi meysid

Re: President Siilaanyo makes peace with SSC jabhad leader
Udun Somaliland they just talked to Sharif because the international community facilitated a meeting to clarify their relations between Somaliland and Somalia nothing substantial has been discussed so far just talks were opened Somaliland quest for statehood is still there and no one can ever deny that. Listen to faroole he siad sh sharif wants to be re elected and President Siilaanyo is looking for recognition just yesterday. So talks are still going on . As for Xaglatoosiye he doesn't hold any power now for his people but than again he is welcome in Hargeysa he is still their former leader. Also other talks are happening
Long live Somaliland and its people

Somali and Somaliland presidents meet in Dubai
The presidents of Somalia and Somaliland have held their first formal talks since Somaliland broke away more than two decades ago.
The meeting, in Dubai, followed talks in Britain where their representatives discussed ways of clarifying their relationship.
The two men, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Ahmed Silanyo, said steps have been taken to continue the dialogue.
Mogadishu wants Somaliland to be part of a single Somali state.
But the northern territory, which broke away in 1991, wants to be a separate country and is awaiting international recognition.
Since declaring independence, Somaliland has enjoyed relative peace in contrast to the rest of Somalia, which has been plagued by conflict.
The first formal direct contact in 21 years between the authorities in southern Somalia, formerly governed by Italy, and the Somaliland administration, which used to be a British colony, happened on 21 June near London.
Britain, Norway and the European Union have said they want the two sides to negotiate a settlement.
Somaliland agreed to enter into the talks during a February meeting in London, when 40 global leaders met to tackle piracy, terrorism and political instability in Somalia.
But its administration says its priority is to remain separate from the rest of Somalia - and wants Mogadishu to recognise its independence.
Somaliland unilaterally declared independence after the overthrow of Siad Barre - who led Somalia's last functioning national government
It is relatively stable and holds regular elections which have seen peaceful transfers of power - unlike the rest of the country, which has been racked by continued conflict ever since.

Historic agreement paves way for end to Somali bloodshed
DUBAI // An historic meeting between the presidents of Somalia and Somaliland in Dubai today may be the first step towards ending years of bloodshed there.
The meeting, facilitated by the UAE, was the first in 21 years. Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, the president of Somalia's transitional federal government, and Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo, the president of the Republic of Somaliland, signed a declaration that paves the way for future talks and cooperation between the nations.
"This is a breakthrough and we are happy that our brothers in the north want to speak and negotiate," said Mr Ahmed. "As you know, all Somalis come from the same ethnic background, speak the same language and practice the same religion. So we are looking for solutions that satisfy all the segments of Somalia. Such negotiations need time and we hope it will succeed."
Mr Silanyo, Somaliland's president, voiced similar optimism.
"This will help for peace in the region as a whole, it will help in the fight against piracy and terrorism," he said.
Somaliland, which seceded from Somalia in 1991, has never been recognised by the international community. Mr Silanyo said he hoped the Dubai meeting would be the first step toward such recognition.
"We do hope it will contribute to us being recognised by the international community as a separate entity. We want to work together and live together - each country on its own," said Mr Silanyo.
The UAE foreign policy stance - that regionally initiated dialogue helps resolve conflict - was highlighted in the meeting of the presidents today.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of a two-day global counter-piracy convention in Dubai.
"What we see today is one people, who communicated and negotiated for the benefit of their people," said Anwar Mohammad Gargash, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
"The UAE is very aware that you cannot overcome many years of pain overnight, therefore we are witnessing a historic moment where the two presidents meet andsign this agreement to negotiations."
The one-page declaration signed by both presidents is titled The Dubai Statement.
"Both parties agreed to the continuation of this dialogue and agreed to allow the two committees, formed by the presidents, to continue the talks to clarify the relationship between the two sides," the statement read.
The meeting today formally endorses initial talks between ministers on both sides last week in London.
Somalia has functioned without a strong central administration since the ouster of the dictator Siad Barre in 1991. The collapse of his dictatorship led to civil war and inter-clan conflict, which split the country into the regions of Somalia, Somaliland, Puntland and Galmudug.
Somaliland, the northwestern region of Somalia, declared independence in 1991 and - despite a lack of recognition by the international community - has its own democratically elected government.
With limited economic opportunities at home, piracy became a lucrative business. Somalis say the root of piracy was in the early 1990s when local fishermen fought with foreign trawlers involved in illegal fishing and dumping toxic waste off its coast.

I don't have time to read or react to anybody's nonesense here , everything is going according to plan al Hamdulillah.
There will be NO separate country Somaliland . The dhulbahante will be part of the state of Somaliland which with other multi tribal states ( I am not talking marehan/ ogaden or majeerten/ leelkase , that's not multi tribal ) will form the Somali country of tomorrow insha Allah .
