 So True walahi. I think when a indhayar father speaks to his son/daughter it's usually about school or their grades. When a somali parent talks to their child it's always "Miyaanad Inan/gabadh helin wali?"

Chances of a Somali parent talking to their kids towards marriage are higher than them telling the kids ilahay kacabso and be a good muslim.

Advo,

Marriage will be seem strange to you. You lost your innocence  Take it from an odeey who has been dating longer than you have been alive, the more you date, the less the chance you will settle down.

been maaha

As for the topic I have noticed this and its annoying. I never cared or felt the need to bring that up to people. At the end of the day people have their reasons why or why not they choose to pursue marriage.

Marriage is in fashion nowadays. No one cares about whether it turns out ugly .

I for one will wait till i am 50 until i find my prince. If no success at 50, then i will lower the standards by 1 point ...ahem..

I see marriage justa away to be with the person you want to be with not something to ease your single life. i have no problem being single. yes, sometimes I feel lonely, but my lonelieness is much to do with not having my real family over here.
