Somalia doesnt exist anymore sufigirl. He is smart not to play for bahalocountry. Just tonight maareeyihii Mogadishu Airport was killed wtf. Why would he play for country which kills fellow muslims in mid of ramadan.
Mo Farah plays for the country which welcomed him in open arms.

I was happy he won, but would have been happier had he played for his country. Dhiig malihidin if you're not troubled by this fact, every single Kenyan and Ethiopian and Eritrean running with him were representing their countries.
Very bitter sweet.

Sista,
Because their countries exist. They have governments, proud nation, paved roads, buildings.
If Mo Farah played for Somalia and he would go to Xamar, they would kill him. Thats how he will be thanked.
Unfortunately Sland is not recognized , otherwise he would play for his homeland and welcomed as hero.

Re: 10,000 Meter Race
It is a little selfish of you ES to say your emotional security is more stable superimposing your sense of glory on another person.
As I understand, the guy was picked from a local gym at 11 and trained, fed, and nurtured to be the running machine he is today through British tax money. He has every responsibility to represent the flag that made him who he is. It is also a little ironic you make your statements exactly as a citizen of a foreign nation and not of your parent's country of origin.
Those guys represented Ethiopia and Kenya because Ethiopia and Kenya invested in them; Mo Farah represented Great Britain because Great Britain invested in him.
