The 4.5 state has usurped the legitimate authority of the sovereign people of Somaliland the moment it decided to usurp their will by including their respective clans in this new state. And the moment that the 4.5 state laid claim in their constitution to territories that are in, no the whole of the Somaliland State, is the moment that they declared war on the Somaliland state. Do not confuse this as an active military state of war, but a State of war between two states. What I find sad is that the Somaliland electives still believe that they can get recognition by the same party that has declared war on their sovereignty, the UN by their created state the 4.5 state.

But what you guys fail to see is that this is created by the UN and not the walanwaynes. We are just dad la gumaystay, you guys are the ones whose freedom is under threat. You guys aren't fighting Kacaan anymore, y'all need to move away from that. Still having nightmares general a/casiis cali siyaad barre is still sitting in Hargeisa, there is no more faqash smh :snoop:

in all seriousness I think its time to accept "somaliland" will never be an independent state.
Its time for the alternative views in "somaliland" to be heard.

The days when Faisal Warabe could openly say, "I`ll cut the tongue out of whomever says Somalia", are over.

Reer Somaliland, any entity that claims to speak for your people, make social contracts on behalf of your people, and claims the land of your people other than the sovereign elected officials of your people is not your friends, but your enemy. Your vice-president has it right when he said the 4.5 state constitution is your enemy.

I think Somalia will need sometime to fix its mess before the issue of Northern break away region of Sland to be solved, so i think all these topics/threads r attention seeking.

This is "premier league" politics .
The point here is to show the daarods that a non Isaaq { a gadabursi } is as a radical Somalilander as any other person .
If you cannot understand it , you cannot understand it , what can I say ?

Anyway coming back to P.O behaviour lately , when a marehan starts pretending to support Somaliland seccession , things are not going all that good for them , believe me

Cultivating hate and division is the tactics of the weak who do not have the capacity to exact their will on their enemies. Siyad Barre introduced hate among Somalis to weaken them so that he may continue to hold onto his SEAT.

Hate begets hate

These folks are not serious about secession, they just wanted de facto control over what is/was Northern Somalia, and they have it. there is no problem with Somalia(Sharif/constitution) as far as they are concerned, Somalia can continue to claim Somaliland as it's northern territory, and the Isaaq leaders will continue to say the opposite, and no one will actually settle this disagreement, because A, Somalia have bad leaders and most of the population just don't care, B, Somaliland leaders do not want to settle this issue in a legitimate manner, rather they sensationalize the matter to wild up and excite their population.

the brainwashed population believes in this secession story, not the elite and those in power, they might have started off sincere but they know the game really well and are not stupid, in fact they stand to benefit more from this limbo than if they were to get independence or reunite with Somalia, they might have discovered this and thus decide to maintain current state of affairs. They the elite over there cash in on the tax, loans and international donations whiles whiles the population is preoccupied with the delusion that is Somaliland's pursuit for independence, Somaliland leaders are not prepared to go through the proper channels to acquire the independence, they have been telling their citizens lies for the better part of two decades..

I'm not for or against Somaliland, I wouldn't even be pro-Somalia if there was to be a war over the issue, when we had a legitimate government who actually fought rebels who were allied with our arch enemy I was for war. A legitimate government has the right to defend its territory, to give the people of northern Somalia something better than short sighted tribal agendas, but today there is no legitimate government and every ceeb and tom is pushing a tribal agenda so actually I think everyone should leave each other alone and let neighboring tribes settle their issues.
