LOL  ... Please shut up !!

Prophet Muhammed (saw) said women are the back-bone of society .... Back in the days muslim women and the prophets wives used to fight with the men side by side in the wars agains the kaafiroon

Prophet Muhammed (saw) was pro-womens education

yes women should take care of their children ..but thats only when the kids are small

then she should go back to work
which war did women and prophets wives fight in against the kafiroon?

This is why I dislike women from the west, most of them have been brainwashed by secular/feminist ideals unlike the women in Somalia & Kenya who know their duty.

qoraxeey,

those 70 degrees are useless to those women, this is a great move by the Iranian government. Don't let the west brain wash you, a degree isn't everything, and educated doesn't necessarily mean you have to have a degree

They are not banning them but limiting their numbers I think
This is a good thing and a bad thing

Bad: Women now days are more empowered and determined than Males worldwide. They want to succeed and prove they can match males in most aspects especially in the intellectual field. However, limiting them is a bad since they are the ones who want to succeed. If they limit/ban females’ numbers, it doesn’t mean automatically males will fill the void or those filling void might not offer the same quality as those harden females. Also females need a alternative source of income if their marriage fails and husbands leave them, she needs something to fall back on

Good: Iran cannot continue forever with a gender imbalance in University as it will cause major social issues in the long run and change the order of power.

Overall, I see it as a bad idea, let's the best in

grandpakhalif wrote::comeon: La ilaha illa lah, your telling me the Prophet wants women to work in fields where men and women intermix, which is haram, please don't make statements like these as you will regret them. How many ahaadith and athaar I can bring you of the Prophet advising women to stay home, from the MASJID let alone a place of fitan like the workplace. Do you think us muslim men enjoy working with these dirty kaafiras and shaking their hands let alone muslim women! The concept of females working merely for economic independency has no basis in the Shari?ah. In fact, it is a root of many evils. It is this economic independency in a woman that gives her the courage to break her marital home. Consider the marital breakdown in the US (4-5) due to woman independency. If she was dependant, or her husband, she would exercise restraint and maintain her marriage. That is best in the interest of her family, husband and children. It does not mean that a woman should be dependant on men merely to maintain her marriage.

Our prophet was against gener mixing :| women had right back then .. their voice was always heard

also back then the muslims were minorty in Mecka/Medina ect ... and they were beign killed or harassed by the kafiiroon in Qureysh clan etc

now millions or maybe billions of muslims live in this world

I dont have to fear getting killed when I go outside my door

YES women should work .......... Also many somali men are retared and cant provide for their women .. especially in the west .. the boys have bad grades in school and dont get jobs when they become adults

If it all comes down to bad grades and degrees which is a relatively new concept by the way, then I am arguing with a mere simpleton.

She probably just means the medical role they played on the field, and assistant-type work. Also Khawlaa was said to have been fighting in a campaign lead by Khalid ibn walid. Oh yeah.
