Hold up. The Shabab rebels... are they just fleeing? To Kismaayo? Won't there be a huge blood bath there? Out of all the cities and towns they have been kicked out of in the past few years, there ahve always be minimum deaths on the Al-Shabab side. Which would only suggest that they are all going to Kismayo and are in that corner waiting to be slaughtered in the final battle?

This is an organization of a couple of thousand. That is a lot of Shabab members.

I supported the ICU when they rested control of mog from the warlords, but was turned off by their wannabe jihadi antics.
The same with al shabaab. Until they started flying the black flag I was generally supportive of their efforts to control the disparate and fractious Somalis.

I hate the presence of the Bantu forces and envoys, but what alternative is out there?
