SahanGalbeed's favorite people, the Tuareg, eat it. So do some Arabs (mostly Bedouins), Pakistanis, Afghans, Iranians and Indians. The ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans ate it.

Shebeelka uun waxaanu mooday inuu ayaa federation. since tigers never lived in Africa, most likely leopards iyo cheetehs ayaa lagu odhan jiray shebeel. kinda like waraabe description Somalida have limited vocab when it comes to big cats or animals that resemble one another.

Haa,Leopard waa Shabeel.Cheetahna waa Hadhimacad.We Somalis don't have a name for Tiger as there are no Tigers in Africe.So we tend to just also call it a Shabeel

If the chains of the hadith are authentic, and the narrators are trustworthy then wallahi i will either eat hyena meat in Somalia or order it :eat:

I doubt you have such hadith which says prophet pbuh ate hyena, and if you do have then the chains are broken or it is weak.
