I worded that wrong. I should have said deadly habit.

But people quit smoking cigarettes only because of its harmful effects. Not because its addicting.

If former smokers use snus, then it must be much "safer" than cigarettes right?

If that is the case, I would very very slowly kick the habit. Instead of doing it everyday, do it every other day for a 1 month1. Then twice a week for 1 months. Then once a week for 1 months. Then you stop.

Or just wear a patch. It is tobacco (without all the chemicals) at the end of the day.

Yes but reason people smoke is because they are addicted, why change one addiction to another? Those who change from ciggarette to snus usally remain 'snusare' because the habit its so strong to kick. Its true its less harmless then ciggarette but its bad for the body and its also stronger addiction and its cost more then ciggarette.
Kicking the habit slowly might work for others but for me its better to go cold turkey, delaying the pain its like tortue.

Snus är det äckligaste som finns, ish.Efter 9år med den där skiten undrar hur dina tänder ser ut :down: :down: :down:

Om man ska bli av med en ovana, då ska man bytta ut mot nåt annat.Håll dig sysselsatt, träna eller nåt.

Inget fel på mina tänder, tandköttet har dragits lite tillbaks men i övrigt så har jag inga fysiska problem med snuset. Det är beroendet jag vill bryta och dessutom är det så satans dyrt att snusa. Jag tränar just nu regelbundet på gym.

Ugh, det måste suga att vara beroende av något :down: , ett tips som du kan göra när du börjar begära efter 'det' så illa att du inte kan emotstå, är att göra wudu och ockupera dig själv med att be 2-4 långa sunnah rakats. Hört det hjälper. :up: Inshallah, du kommer att ta dig genom. :up:

To break free from any shackles of addiction is to give it up for 30 days, it'll only get easier, and substituting it with something else that's not addictive, might help easy the anxiety attacks. Keep in thought, that urge never goes away completely, its a never ending progess.
