According to which Islamic teaching is it okay? Bring some evidence. So you only follow the Quran and not the SUNNAH? Arabic is only important because that is the language God revealed the Quran in. Children are able to learn the Qur'an and we have grown-people complaining about not being able to pray in Arabic.

I just do not understand why someone would want to pray their Salah using the translation of the Quran. New-reverts should be given the time to learn the recitation and understanding of the Quran.
