I did listen to bits of Shariif's speech but didn't get to finish and as of Baadiyow, he is on my list to listen to.

I think Salaad Jeele tainted Shariif when he took an indirect swipe at him regarding corruption.
Also Farmaajo went on the attack when he mentioned how when he took office as a prime minister, there wasn't a single
shilling/dollar left in the governments savings vault. He was quick to point out the sum of money he left behind tatalling to
above (seven million dollars).

there was definitely some mud slinging in this campaign. I can only imagine it 4 years from now it will be tv attack ads rather than in front of MPs.

I think we have witnessed such incident already, infact it worked so fine that it played part in a high ranking official losing his seat.

Do you recall how Shariif Xassan the former speaker of parliment got video taped making threats on how it is easy to produce fake degrees?
He went as far as saying "and there isn't anything you could do aboutit".

When i saw the clip, i had a good feeling that the guy was done and wasn't coming back.
